Use Perplexity’s custom remote connector when enabled for your account or workspace. You do not need a local MCP bridge for this route.
  1. Open account Settings → Connectors → + Custom connector.
  2. Choose Remote.
  3. Enter Ask Gina and https://askgina.ai/ai/gina/mcp.
  4. Select OAuth as the authentication method and add the connector.
  5. Open its connector card, authenticate with Gina, and enable it for your query.

The host configuration route is documented; an authenticated Gina test and Gina-specific result widgets in Perplexity have not been verified here. Use the actual tool response to check success.

Verify your first result

Ask “Use Gina to show ETH in USD over the past seven days.” Confirm a Gina tool ran and the response identifies ETH and the requested period.
