Explore a market

  1. Choose Perps in the app sidebar.
  2. Search for the asset. Check the venue as well as the symbol for HIP-3 markets.
  3. Inspect the market’s price, change, volume, and funding information.
  4. Ask chat “Explain the BTC perpetual market and its current funding; do not open a position.”

Review your account

Open the Perps account view in the wallet or ask “Show my Hyperliquid positions and open orders.” Compare position size, margin, leverage, entry price, and unrealized P&L. Check the result’s account and timestamp.

Understand execution

Opening or closing positions, changing leverage, and funding the account are execution actions. Be explicit about the asset, side, size, and intended action. To research only, say “do not trade.” Perpetual futures use leverage and can liquidate. Read the returned margin and liquidation information before acting.
