By the end of this tutorial, your assistant will retrieve a seven-day ETH price chart through Gina. No wallet funding or trade is needed.

1. Choose your assistant

Open Get Started and follow your host’s setup instructions. Use the read-only server:
Complete Gina authentication in the browser. If your client needs a manual token, follow authentication and explicitly select Read-only — view data.

2. Check the connection

Confirm the client has loaded Gina tools. Read-only access includes getSimplePrice, getTokenChart, and getAccountAddresses; a host may add a prefix to their names. It must not include bash or execution tools from this connection.

3. Ask for a chart

Use Gina to show ETH’s price in USD over the past seven days. Include the time range and identify any missing data.
Expected: a Gina tool result with ETH price history, shown as a chart or summarized as text depending on the host. Confirm the asset, quote currency, and requested period. An answer from the model’s memory is not a successful connection test. If authentication fails, reconnect. If no tools appear, refresh the host’s tool list or start a new session. See connection troubleshooting.
